Article summary

* A parallel dialer rings several numbers at once for one rep and connects only the first live person. Vendors claim 150 to 200 dials an hour per rep, against 20 to 25 by hand.
* ♥ Our favourite**Our pick for most B2B teams: [Skipcall](https://skipcall.io/).** A solution set to shake up the market with an affordable, complete offer: 4 lines from $70 a user a month with no seat minimum, AI that screens out voicemails and drops a recorded message, a mobile app, plans you can mix rep by rep (multi-plan), workspaces per team, 24/7 customer support, 160+ countries, 14 included in the base plan and native HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Attio sync.
* **Best for large US SDR floors: Orum and Nooks.** The heavyweights of the category, established for several years and today the biggest players in parallel dialing. More lines and AI coaching, but quote-only pricing, a 9-seat minimum at Orum, and median contracts of about $21k and $30k a year (Vendr).
* More lines is not always better. Past 4, you mostly drop people who picked up, which hurts your brand and, in the UK and US, your abandoned-call rate.
* No dialer fixes a bad list. Connect rate starts with the right mobile, which is why number data and the dialer should be chosen together.

## What is a parallel dialer?

A parallel dialer is calling software that dials several numbers at the same time for a single rep and connects the rep only to the first person who answers. Voicemails, switchboards, busy signals and dead numbers are detected and dropped, so the rep spends their time talking instead of listening to rings.

It sits between two older tools. A **power dialer** calls one number after another for one rep: faster than dialing by hand, but the rep still hears every ring and every voicemail. A **predictive dialer** calls many numbers for a pool of agents and guesses when an agent will be free. That works for call centres with scripts, and it is the reason "abandoned calls" became a regulated term.

Fig. 1

How a 4-line parallel dialer handles one round

**1 rep**free to talk

Line 1 · Voicemail✕ dropped, SMS or VM drop

Line 2 · Rings out✕ ended, retried later

Line 3 · "Hello?"✓ connected to the rep

Line 4 · Dead number✕ dropped, flagged in CRM

The rep only hears line 3\. Everything else is logged to the CRM automatically. The next round starts when the rep hangs up.

### Manual vs power vs parallel: the throughput gap

The figures below are vendor claims, not an independent test, and they assume a clean list. They still show why teams switch: the number of conversations a rep has per hour is a function of dials per hour.

## Which parallel dialer is best? Quick picks

The best parallel dialer depends on your team size, the countries you call and how much of the stack you already own. Here are the short answers.

* **Best overall, for teams from 1 to 50 reps: Skipcall.** Published price, no seat minimum, 4 lines, 160+ countries, 14 included in the base plan.
* **Best for large US SDR teams on Outreach or Salesloft: Orum.** Mature product and number reputation tools, 9-seat minimum, quote only.
* **Best for AI coaching and roleplay built in: Nooks.** The most complete AI layer, the highest median contract in this list.
* **Best self-serve 5-line dialer for the US: Salesfinity.** $299 a user a month, no annual contract on Gold.
* **Best overlay on an existing sales engagement platform: Trellus.** Chrome extension, 5 lines, monthly plans.
* **Best for small US teams that want a phone system too: Kixie.** Up to 4 lines, 7-day trial.

### 1 Skipcall

4 linesFrom $70/user/moNo seat minimum

**Best for** B2B teams from 1 to 50 reps who call Europe, the US or both, and want a parallel dialer, a business phone line and CRM logging in one tool, at a price they can read before a demo.

#### What you get

**The most complete parallel dialer on the market, built to equip every team in the company.** Up to 4 lines per rep, with AI that tells a human from a voicemail, an automated switchboard or an invalid number, and only passes live answers. Dialing only starts when the rep is free, so no call is ever abandoned. Here is everything it does:

Calling

* Parallel dialer, up to 4 lines
* Power dialer on the same seat, for high-value accounts
* Business VoIP phone system, landline and mobile numbers
* Web app with nothing to install, plus iOS and Android mobile app
* Automated call sequences on a list
* SMS from the company number

AI

* Screens out voicemails, switchboards and invalid numbers (95% stated accuracy)
* Pre-recorded voicemail drop or automatic SMS after a missed call
* Recording, transcription and AI summary of every call

Contacts and follow-up

* Pre-CRM to prepare and segment lists
* On-demand phone and email enrichment
* Tasks linked to contacts
* Performance and sequence dashboard

CRM and integrations

* Two-way sync with HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive and Attio
* Every attempt and outcome pushed in real time
* Open REST API and webhooks

* Data hosted in the EU at Scaleway in Paris, public DPA and sub-processor list
* Recording, retention and deletion settings

Coming soon

* MCP connector for ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Mistral
* Click to Call from any web page

#### Price

Starter is $70 a user a month with 400 conversations, 200 SMS and the 4-line parallel dialer. Intermediate is $140 (1,000 conversations) and Expert $240 (unlimited conversations, 2 numbers). Billing is monthly, quarterly or annual, one licence is enough to start, and an Enterprise plan from 6 licences is quoted. Plans can be mixed per rep, so a manager on a plain business line does not pay for a dialer seat.

#### Trade-off

The 4-line cap is a deliberate choice, not a limit: beyond 4 simultaneous calls, collisions climb fast and you burn through your list by hanging up on people who answered (see [how many lines you actually need](https://pipecorn.com/#how-many-lines-do-you-actually-need)). Sales coaching like Nooks or Orum offer is not available yet; it is on the roadmap. Like Nooks and Orum, Skipcall does not yet offer an IVR or inbound call routing, also on the roadmap.

### 2 Orum

Parallel, line count on quoteQuote only9-seat minimum

**Best for** US SDR teams of 10+ reps already running Outreach, Salesloft or Salesforce, who want a mature parallel dialer with number reputation tools.

#### What you get

AI answer detection that also "clears the tree" on phone menus, voicemail drop and a voicemail sequencer, call summaries and objection detection, and paid add-ons for roleplay agents, scorecards and coaching. Number rotation, reputation monitoring and a "Number Temperature" view help keep caller IDs out of spam labels. Orum says it dials into 70+ countries, France, Germany, Italy and Spain included.

#### Price

Not published. Orum's pricing page asks for a demo and states a 9-seat minimum. Vendr puts the median contract at about $21,300 a year, with a wide range from about $5,400 to $71,000\. There is a trial limited to 500 dials.

#### Trade-off

A team of 3 still pays for 9 seats. In some countries parallel dialing is not available and Orum falls back to power dialing or click-to-call, and delivery time for local numbers abroad is "highly variable" in its own words. No native Pipedrive or Attio sync.

### 3 Nooks

Parallel, no hard cap statedQuote onlyAI coaching

**Best for** funded SDR teams that want the dialer, live coaching and AI practice in one platform, and have the budget for it.

#### What you get

Parallel dialing with automatic voicemail drop on the beep, live transcription, whisper coaching, battlecards, roleplay bots, call scoring and AI sequencing. Number rotation and reputation monitoring. Numbers in 45+ countries.

#### Price

Not published. Vendr's data across 58 deals puts the median contract at about $30,100 a year, with onboarding fees on top that Vendr estimates at $2,000 to $10,000+.

#### Trade-off

The highest median contract here, and annual terms. Native sync covers Salesforce and HubSpot; other CRMs go through CSV upload. Nooks notes that AI features may not work after connect in some languages, which matters for teams calling in French, German or Spanish.

### 4 Salesfinity

5 lines$299/user/moUS & Canada

**Best for** US-only teams of 1 to 5 reps who want 5 lines on a monthly, self-serve plan.

#### What you get

Up to 5 lines on every plan, voicemail and busy-signal skipping, an AI agent called Ari, summaries, and SmartGuard/SmartRotate for caller ID health with 10 caller IDs. CRM sync covers Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo and Amplemarket.

#### Price

Gold is $299 a user a month, billed monthly, for 1 to 5 reps. Enterprise and Enterprise Plus are custom and annual.

#### Trade-off

Gold and Enterprise call the US and Canada only; international calling needs Enterprise Plus. GDPR compliance is listed as "in progress", which rules it out for many European buyers today. Some G2 reviews mention connection delays and audio issues.

### 5 Trellus

5 linesFrom $149.99/moChrome extension

**Best for** reps who already live in Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo or HubSpot sequences and want to add parallel dialing on top, without changing platform.

#### What you get

Up to 5 lines from a Chrome extension, a real-time AI coach, unlimited AI practice calls, and number health with rotation and spam remediation. It plugs into Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, Attio and Close.

#### Price

Power is $99.99 a month and Power + Parallel $149.99 a month, self-serve and monthly; Business is custom. The pricing page also shows a different figure in places, so confirm before you buy.

#### Trade-off

It is an overlay, so you still pay for the sales engagement platform underneath. Country coverage is not documented, and with 19 reviews on G2 the user base is still small.

### 6 Kixie

4 lines7-day trialUS & Canada

**Best for** small US teams that want a business phone system with a multi-line power dialer inside.

#### What you get

A Multi-Line PowerDialer with up to 4 lines, AI human-voice detection, ConnectionBoost for local presence and spam-label remediation, and conversation intelligence as a paid add-on. Native sync with Salesforce, HubSpot, Pipedrive and Zoho.

#### Price

The pricing page did not display list prices when we read it. A 7-day trial runs without a card.

#### Trade-off

Unlimited minutes cover the US and Canada; coverage in Europe is not documented. Conversation intelligence costs extra.

### 7 Koncert

4–5 linesAgent-assisted option

**Best for** US teams on Salesforce that want a choice between AI parallel dialing and agent-assisted dialing, where live agents navigate phone trees.

#### What you get

Symphony AI Parallel from 1 to 4 lines, Symphony+ up to 5, and an Agent-Assisted Dialer. Objection detection, transcription and summaries, plus add-ons for an AI voice agent and roleplay. Native Salesforce, plus HubSpot, Outreach and Salesloft.

#### Price

The pricing page lists figures with no currency or unit and a "contact us" option, so plan on a quote.

#### Trade-off

Only US coverage is documented ("every US area code"), and pricing is hard to read without a call.

### 8 JustCall

Predictive, 10 numbers2-licence minimum

**Best for** teams that want a cloud phone system first, and a predictive dialer for high-volume campaigns.

#### What you get

A power dialer from the Pro plan, and in SalesPro a predictive dialer that calls up to 10 numbers at once, with answering-machine detection and voicemail drop. Number health status, local numbers in 70+ countries, AI assist and an AI voice agent.

#### Price

Team $29, Pro $49 and Pro Plus $89 a user a month, billed annually. SalesPro, which carries the predictive dialer, is quote only. Minimum 2 licences, 10 on Business. 14-day trial without a card.

#### Trade-off

The 10-line dialer is predictive and built for call-centre workflows, not a per-rep SDR parallel dialer, and it sits in the quote-only tier.

### 9 Ringover

2 lines$49 add-onNot in France

**Best for** existing Ringover customers calling the US, the UK or Spain who want to test parallel dialing without changing phone system.

#### What you get

A Parallel Dialer add-on with 2 simultaneous calls, on top of the Power Dialer. Transcription, summaries and Empower coaching as paid tiers. Data centres in France.

#### Price

The add-on is $49 a user a month, on top of a Ringover plan (Business from $49 a user a month billed annually). Minimum 3 users and a 12-month commitment.

#### Trade-off

Ringover was not designed as a parallel dialer: it is a VoIP phone system adapting to outbound, and the interface shows it. It is not built natively for people who prospect all day. On top of that, 2 lines is half of most tools here, and the parallel add-on is available in the US, the UK and Spain only, not France, despite Ringover being a French company.

### 10 ConnectAndSell

Human-assistedQuote only

**Best for** enterprise teams calling hard-to-reach senior buyers through switchboards, who want humans, not just AI, working the phone trees.

#### What you get

Agents navigate IVRs and gatekeepers and hand the rep a live voice (Express Connect) or a named target (Precision Connect). CASSi AI adds number enrichment, coaching and notes.

#### Price

Quote only, per seat. GetApp lists it from about $300 a user. A one-day "Test Drive" with an expert is offered.

#### Trade-off

A different model, at the top of the price range, with no published CRM integration list.

**Not parallel dialers, despite the search results**

These tools often appear in "parallel dialer" lists but do not dial several numbers at once for one rep, based on their own pages. **PhoneBurner** is a power dialer only. **Aircall**'s "parallel calls" means holding two calls by hand; its dialer is a power dialer. **Aloware** offers power and preview dialers and says it has no predictive dialer. **HubSpot**'s native power dialer (Sales Hub Enterprise) dials one call at a time. **Apollo** has parallel dialing behind an advanced dialer add-on, with line count and rates shown only in-app.

## How many lines do you actually need?

**No more than 4.** Beyond that it is counter-productive: far too many dropped answers, and every one of them damages your list. Above 4 lines you are buying marketing, not efficiency. More lines look faster in a demo, but past this threshold they mostly create one problem: two people pick up in the same round.

Here is the arithmetic. Say 10% of dials reach a live person, a typical figure for a decent B2B list. With 4 lines, the chance that two or more people answer in the same round is about 5%. With 10 lines, it is about 26%. Every extra person who answers while the rep is already talking hears silence and a hang-up. That is a bad first impression of your brand, and in the UK and the US it is also an "abandoned call" that regulators count.

Binomial probability of 2 or more live answers among n simultaneous dials, with a 10% chance per dial. Real rates vary with list quality and timing, and some dialers stagger dials to reduce collisions. Ask each vendor how it handles a second live answer and what abandon rate it reports.

The useful question for a vendor is not "how many lines?" but "what happens to the second person who answers, and can I see my abandon rate per campaign?". Start with 3 lines, measure conversations per hour and dropped answers for two weeks, then move to 4 if the dropped share stays low. Do not go further.

## A parallel dialer is only as good as the numbers you feed it

A parallel dialer multiplies whatever is in your list. Feed it switchboards and dead lines and it will burn through them four at a time; feed it verified mobiles and it multiplies conversations. In [Hyperline's call test of six enrichment tools](https://pipecorn.com/blog/best-phone-number-enrichment-tools-for-cold-calling), the share of contacts with a right-person mobile ran from 53% to 76% depending on the provider. That spread lands straight on your connect rate, whatever dialer you choose.

The practical set-up most teams end up with is three layers: a data source that finds and verifies mobiles, a CRM that holds the list, and a dialer that calls it and writes every outcome back. Pipecorn and Skipcall both sync with HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive, so a list built in one is callable in the other without a CSV in between.

![Drawing: a rep with a headset runs in a hamster wheel next to four call results, Reception, how can I help?, Main switchboard, please hold, You have reached the general line, and Voicemail. Next., above the line 180 dials an hour, 0 decision-makers and a fast ≠ good tag](https://pipecorn.com/assets/blog/best-parallel-dialers/rep-hamster-wheel-switchboards.webp)

The rep after switching from 25 dials an hour to 180, with a list full of switchboards. Speed only multiplies what is in your list.

## How to choose a parallel dialer in 5 steps

1. **List the countries you call.** Check that parallel dialing, not just calling, is available in each one, and that local numbers are included or priced.
2. **Price your real team size for 12 months.** Include seat minimums, onboarding fees, the CRM integration and the AI features you will use, not just the entry price.
3. **Check CRM write-back.** Ask for a live demo where a call outcome, recording and summary land in your CRM, in your fields.
4. **Ask about collisions and abandon rate.** What happens to a second live answer, and can you see the rate per campaign?
5. **Run a two-week test on your own list.** Same reps, same list, compare conversations per hour and meetings booked against your current method.

## Compliance before you dial

Parallel dialing is legal for B2B prospecting in most markets, inside the rules that apply to any outbound call. This is general guidance, not legal advice.

* **Abandoned calls.** In the UK, Ofcom's persistent misuse policy expects an abandoned call rate under 3% per campaign over 24 hours. In the US, the Telemarketing Sales Rule caps abandonment at 3% per campaign over 30 days. Both are reasons to keep line counts sensible.
* **US mobiles.** The TCPA restricts calls to mobile numbers made with an autodialer or a prerecorded voice without prior consent. Ask how your dialer places calls and drops voicemails.
* **France.** From 11 August 2026, cold calling consumers requires their prior consent. B2B calls to professionals about their job remain possible under GDPR legitimate interest, with Bloctel still relevant for consumer lines.
* **Recording.** Tell the person the call is recorded, and set retention and deletion in your dialer to match your policy.
* **Your vendor.** Ask where call data and recordings are stored, for a DPA and for the sub-processor list.

## Frequently asked questions

### What is a parallel dialer?

A parallel dialer calls several numbers at the same time for one rep and connects the rep to the first person who answers. Voicemails, switchboards and dead lines are filtered out, and the other calls are ended.

### What is the difference between a parallel, power and predictive dialer?

A power dialer calls one number after another for one rep. A parallel dialer calls several numbers at once for one rep. A predictive dialer calls many numbers for a pool of agents and predicts when an agent will be free, which is built for call centres.

### How many lines should a parallel dialer use?

No more than 4\. Beyond that, dropped answers pile up and damage your list. At a 10% live-answer rate, the chance of two people answering in the same round is about 5% with 4 lines and about 26% with 10\. Start at 3 and move to 4 if dropped answers stay rare.

### What is the best parallel dialer for Europe and France?

Of the ten tools compared, Skipcall covers 160+ countries, 14 of them included in the base plan, France among them, hosts customer data in the EU and has no seat minimum. Orum lists 70+ countries but parallel dialing is not available in all of them. Ringover's parallel add-on is not available in France, and Salesfinity calls outside the US and Canada only on Enterprise Plus.

### How much does a parallel dialer cost?

Published prices run from $70 a user a month (Skipcall Starter) to $299 (Salesfinity Gold). Orum and Nooks quote on request; Vendr puts their median contracts at about $21,300 and $30,100 a year.

### Does a parallel dialer increase connect rates?

It increases conversations per hour, because a rep makes more dials in the same time. The connect rate per dial still depends mostly on your data: right-person mobiles connect, switchboards and dead numbers do not.

### Is parallel dialing legal?

For B2B calls in most countries, yes, within rules on do-not-call registers, caller ID, recording notices and abandoned calls. The UK and US both use a 3% abandoned-call threshold, and in France B2C cold calling requires prior consent from 11 August 2026.

### Can I use a parallel dialer with HubSpot, Salesforce or Pipedrive?

Yes. Skipcall, Salesfinity and Kixie sync natively with all three. Orum and Nooks cover HubSpot and Salesforce natively but not Pipedrive. HubSpot itself has no native parallel dialer.
